The operating status of the Vermont Yankee Nuclear Power Plant in southern Vermont is once again drawing national headlines. Donors to the Gay and Lesbian Fund of Vermont recently designated support to the Citizens Awareness Network of Shelburne Falls, Massachusetts, which works to establish a renewable-energy based economy in the Northeast that will provide a clean and prosperous future for the region.
